You can test yourself at a range of different activities.
And by building, your strength, flexibility and control, you'll see your performance improve in other sports too. Whether you're looking to take your first steps at gymnastIcs or get back into the sport, adult gymnastics makes it easy. There's a big social element, which makes the sessions a lot of fun.
As you're starting out, you'll learn the basic moves, and how to perform them on apparatus such as the air track, floor and vault. You'll also learn about your body, your muscles and the way you move. As your strength and flexibility increases, you can challenge and support your mates to try increasingly impressive moves.

Hammersmith and Fulham School of Gymnastics began in 2012 and was founded by Alex Uttley after winning 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2010 with the gymnastics group 'Spelbound'. Alex, our head coach, is a British Gymnastics high performance coach (HPC) with a record of producing European and World champions in his career as an elite Acrobatics coach.
We are a British Gymnastics registered club and abide by their codes of conduct and policies. We have since grown and become one of the only gymnastics clubs in the area to offer a wide range of sessions, ranging from General Gymnastics, to Adult gymnastics. Our members range in age from 5 years old, to adults and we offer classes to suit each of them for their own needs.
Our aim is to offer people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to participate in gymnastics in a supportive and friendly environment. Our coaches are all qualified with British Gymnastics, our governing body, and are DBS checked. We have a love for gymnastics here and hope to be able to share this with you in your own gymnastics journey.
Your child will be encouraged to explore and develop the basic motor skills in a fun environment. These classes we use the whole of our first floor gym, which has sprung, soft surfaces and numerous safety landing areas.
Dance Gymnastics classes are offered by Spotlight Theatre Dance Studio. We pride ourselves on having a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, with our main aim being that pupils learn through fun and enjoyment.
FunGym is designed to help children learn specific skills to enhance confidence, balance, co-ordination and motor skills. Our flexible program allows children to choose from 1-4 hours per week. FunGym places emphasis on fitness, activity, involvement and of course FUN
