These classes broaden the opportunities and choice of dance styles for these children and provide something a little bit different for them in the years during which they are too young to join the Modern Jazz classes.
The strength and agility that they will develop will lead them easily into the Modern Jazz syllabus when they are old enough and also bring new skills to the ballet and tap classes they may already be doing.
The children will cover a range of skills including balance, co-ordination, flexibility and strength using the specialist format of the IDTA Syllabus.
These classes provide a fusion of the skills of the gymnast and those of the dancer thus providing the children with the skills to perform. Most of all these classes are great fun!

We offer a ‘pay as you go’ class for those who are interested in a more relaxed class structure. This class allows gymnasts of any ability, be it beginner or experienced, to attend and use our facilities under the supervision of our qualified coaches.
Recreational classes now follow CGA’s award scheme which ranges from level 1-7 & children can achieve a certificate for each piece of apparatus for each level.
The advanced sessions that are held in school holidays vary from club to club, but we usually offer gymnastic or ninja sessions that have a theme and a focus i.e. floor and beam, tumbling, flips and tricks.
Wythall Gymnastics Club originally started in a small school hall in Wythall. The demand for gymnastic sessions within the community soon became apparent when receiving feedback from parents within the area.
Gymnastics Workshops is offered by OverGravity Gymnastics. As a leading gymnastic club, we foster an environment where all – from novices to seasoned gymnasts and performers – find a platform to hone their skills.
