Brigs is a charitable organization dedicated to building leadership, self-efficacy and self-esteem in youth 13-18.
This is accomplished through the peer-to-peer delivery of challenging programs aboard our traditionally-rigged vessel, with a focus on safety and the creation of positive and memorable experiences on board.
Brigs also endeavours to foster learning and the development of practical skills, the adoption of environmentally sustainable practices, and an appreciation of the rich marine heritage of the Great Lakes.

We have been offering sailing courses to children in the community for over 25 years!
This course is intended to provide novice boaters the opportunity to experience the joys of sailing in a relaxed and safe environment.
Sailors will learn the fundamentals and be introduced to the sport of sailing.
This Sailing Course covers the practical and theoretical basics of sailing and sailing seamanship.
For members new to sailing we offer introductory sail training on the best-maintained fleet of vessels out of Jericho Sailing Centre
