In this adult sewing class we will go over using a sewing machine including how to thread it, which types of threads, needles, fabric, etc. to buy and everything else to get you started.
Each class is 2.5 hours long and all supplies will be provided. We will cover everything you need to know to get you started sewing. You'll get a list of tools you should have for your sewing kit, resources for shopping for sewing supplies, and lots and lots of helpful hints.
You will have time to create one project to take home with you.
Each class is 60.00 per student. I have room for up to 10 students in each class.
All machines, supplies, and tools are provided. You are free to bring your own machine if you want to work on it (just please bring the manual and extras parts with it, including foot pedal). Make sure the machine is in good working condition before bringing it to class. Please show up at least 5 minutes early so we can get you set up. Please don't buy a new machine for this class! We will go over machine shopping and I don't want you to waste your money.
Make Sewing Studio is located in Gilbert, AZ. Classes are scheduled at various times throughout the month. Check for scheduled classes or schedule a class or party of your own.

We teach children, teens and adults - beginner, intermediate and advance. Â Beginners - Non or very little knowledge on how to operate a sewing machine, basic stitches, basic fabric, basic patterns.
This class is for Kids aged 7-12 and of all skill levels. Supplies and sewing machines will be provided.
When in doubt, start at the very beginning. This course is designed to give novice stitchers a comprehensive foundation in machine sewing. Students will graduate with the skills they need to make a project from start to finish, and will gain the confidence to begin tackling anything.
