For example I may have 1 person making a quilt, 2 others learning basic sewing and another making cushions. I have taught this way for many years and it works well for my students. No long term commitment required – just book dates as suits you.
New students please note that for Dressmaking Tuition you must book a private class and have already learnt to sew (see beginner class). Existing students may continue in group classes.
I have loved sewing for as long as I can remember. Thirteen years ago I began teaching beginners how to sew at Thread & Ginger Patchwork Boutique in Victoria Point. In March 2010 I opened the Urban Sewing Lounge and until 2012 I taught regularly in both locations.
