Advance Steel Essentials

Structural Fabricators and detailers who want to get to grips with the essentials of Advance Steel.

Prerequisites:

Confident in the use of 2D CAD including basic drawing and editing commands, snaps, layers coordinates etc. However, drafting, design, or engineering experience is a plus. It is recommended that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft supported systems.

Objectives:

The primary objective of this course is to teach delegates the essentials of Advance Steel and introduce the tools and processes for effective detailing within the Advance Steel software.

• Add Connections and use macros to help with efficient modelling
• Create fabrication drawings
• Create parts lists and other schedules
• Create NC, DXF and other output files
