This is an introductory course that focuses on the fundamental knowledge and skills required of a classroom teacher.
Students will also learn how to access and interpret journal publications in the field of autism and applied behaviour analysis.
This course will help teachers develop skills and knowledge in the design, delivery, programming, and assessment of special education.
The course content was developed based on the International Council for Exceptional Children’s Standards for Entry into the profession.
This course will extend, develop and apply the understanding and knowledge obtaining upon completion of Part 1 theories and models in the design, delivery, programming, and assessment of special education.
