The Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Operations Management equips students with the skills to upgrade and expand their career prospects in a dynamic industry.
It is a practice-based programme which seeks to equip students with a holistic overview of the logistic and operations management.
Students will learn how to handle classic and contemporary challenges, such as manage a complex vendor mix and increase overall efficiency, and operational challenges.
Students will learn subjects such as Transport Management, Human Resource and Cross-Cultural Management, E-Commerce with Logistics, Project Management and Project Work, Operations Management, Supply Chain and Logistic Systems, and Organisation Behaviour.
Programme Objective:
Students will gain an understanding of the strategic role of transportation management and latest developments in term of project work and project management.
The module is designed to provide students with an overview of the key functions of management in logistics. It exposes students to the techniques used in the design, layout and management of warehouses and distribution centers.
To equip students with a thorough understanding of the types of business organizations and issues of employment and the legal aspects of the logistics.
To adept in the art of problem solving and will be effective learners in the ever-evolving arena of the logistics and supply chain management industries.

Relevant EAIM Diploma

Polytechnic Diploma

LCCI Diploma Level 4

Equivalent academic qualification from a recognized higher learning institution

Minimum EAIM ETEDP Level 2 / IELTS 5.5 / GCE O-Level C6 (For mature students who do not meet the above minimum academic entry requirements but have prior learning or work experience in the relevant fields, please contact EAIM for consultation.)
