Programme Objectives 

The Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management has been specially designed to:

  • produce graduates with the essential knowledge, understanding and skills which will enable them to begin their careers in the Logistics and Supply Chain sector at the management entry level

  • develop in students essential life-long skills such as creative and logical thinking, problem-solving and analytical abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • develop in students an appreciation of the roles and responsibilities undertaken by Logistics and Supply Chain professionals in the present global business world

  • develop students' transferable skills and their awareness of the dynamic environment in which logistics and supply chain processes take place


On successful completion of the programme, students will have acquired the following:

  • the necessary Logistics and Supply Chain skills and knowledge so that they can contribute effectively in a business environment

  • a good understanding of the workings of the Logistics and Supply Chain sector as an individual and as part of the larger logistics/Supply Chain industry

  • the ability to apply supply chain principles to various business issues within the sector and to the global market

  • the pre-requisites skills and knowledge to pursue further studies in Operations and Logistics and Supply Chain

  • confidence in the application of a range of analytical and logistics/supply chain tools


Award

  • Students who have successfully completed all coursework and examinations will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
