AEA TESOL is an intensive 5-week course for non-native English speakers who wish to teach English to pre- and primary-school-aged children in their home country.
The course is interactive and practical covering topics such as: child development, lesson stages and the use of songs, games and stories. Students make resources such as flashcards, storybooks and worksheets and give presentations in the TESOL classrooms, as well as mini-lessons at kindergartens and primary schools.
AEA offers communication English programmes for students who want to improve their English for a wide range of reasons. Classes are run in daytime and evenings and offer students from all over the world classes tailored to their needs, in particular through an individual learning plan.
AEA also offers examination preparation classes, and has for some time been the largest IELTS preparation school in New Zealand.
