This class requires “Adult Learning Theory” (provided by Made Safe) as a prerequisite, additionally, “Fall Protection, Train the Trainer” prior to this course is recommended.
Aerial lift incidents can cause significant injuries and deaths as well as extensive property damage. Legislation states that Powered Mobile Equipment (PME) operators require training that includes duties, operation, terminology, inspection, and maintenance among others. Legislation requires training before an operator is considered competent (classroom & observed practical).
This course will develop in-house aerial lift trainers, enabling your facility to be self-sufficient regarding your aerial lift operator training needs. The course will enable the learner to provide their students with an understanding of aerial lift terminology and safety principles, the ability to safely inspect and operate an aerial lift and assess hazards on site.
This course is designed for supervisors or workers who have the ability to speak in front of others and a clear understanding of Aerial Lift operation in a manufacturing environment.
