All classes incorporates the use of a yoga swing to support the body with the help of gravity, so poses can be achieved with less effort and strain, enabling students to explore poses to a deeper level than they might normally be able to achieve.
We offer a full timetable of yoga classes, a McTimoney Chiropractic clinic, and complementary health services including massage, acupuncture and physiotherapy – all under one roof. Our philosophy is to create a support structure, providing the individual with information, choice and ultimately empowerment to take ownership of their health and well-being.

balance was founded in 2004 by McTimoney Chiropractors, Caroline Arnott and Alan MacInnes, and yoga teacher Gerry Kielty. balance remains the first centre of its type to open in the Glasgow area.
Having known each other for several years, it became apparent that not only did they share many of the same patients/students, but that the philosophy of their disciplines very much complemented each other.
Caroline, Alan and Gerry decided to open a centre offering their combined services, alongside other complementary health treatments which support a healthy life: promoting physical and mindful wellbeing.

Although named 'yoga' this class comes from a fitness tradition, using hammocks slung from the ceiling beams to let you swing, float and fly!
Aerial Yoga is fast becoming a popular practice amoungst the more discerning Yogi’s, and educated fitness finatics alike.
Our teacher is a qualified yoga teacher that has also trained in modern dance, aerial circus skills and pole dance and she has combined her knowledge in those disciplines to create an unique aerial yoga class for you.
Aerial Yoga draws from the alignment and techniques of yoga, using a low hanging, wide Aerial Sling to aid in moving through traditional yoga postures.
