We are inspired by different dance styles and music from across Africa, and class will consist of learning technique, grooves and choreography.
We also look to showcase how movement has changed throughout generations and the expansion of the African diaspora.

Conveniently located just a 10 minute walk from Leeds city centre in a converted textile mill, we are easily accessible and provide the perfect backdrop for activities ranging from tap-dancing to photography, with all the facilities you need to feel at home.
Our team is headed up by founder Katie who is a trained professional dancer and teacher.
Since opening in 2009, we’ve welcomed to the studios a wide variety of dance styles from belly dancing to break dancing, opened our doors to people of all abilities, and welcomed clients from the BBC, West End Theatre companies, local businesses, party planners and wedding couples, who have used the space for a wide range of activities.
Katie and her team of top class freelance dance teachers also take the benefits of dance out to schools, colleges, universities, businesses and organisations.
