Artificial Intelligence (AI) is reshaping the marketing industry, in ways both subtle and profound. This certificate program provides a firm foundation of theory and hands-on experiences from which to make sense of AI and then leverage AI ethically and productively in your work and beyond. The program is designed to accommodate all backgrounds and experiences.
This six-week course, taught by James Moore, can be taken as a stand-alone course and also fulfills one of the core requirements in DePaul’s Digital Marketing Strategy Certificate Program and DePaul's Integrated Marketing Communications Certificate Program.
Traveling to DePaul University in the evening can be a burden - we recognize that participants may have other commitments that complicate their lives. For this reason, this program is offered in a Flex format.
A Flex program is taught in a technology-enhanced classroom that allows participants and guests to remotely connect via Zoom and actively participate with participants and faculty in the physical classroom.
This modality is highly desired by participants who enjoy learning in the classroom but want the flexibility to connect live online when work or family responsibilities prevent them from traveling to campus.
You can attend the program on campus or remotely via Zoom. You don’t need to commit to one particular mode of attendance – you can choose the day that works best for you.
Who Should Attend
The AI in Marketing Certificate is tailored to individuals who possess a fundamental understanding of marketing principles and data analysis skills, who now need to add understanding of AI and its capabilities to their skillset. Without sounding too flippant, that is almost everyone in the marketing industry.
Marketing professionals looking to take their skills to the next level
Entrepreneurs seeking new growth opportunities
Career changers
Those curious about the emerging field of AI and its application in marketing
This is not a course that requires prior coding experience. The weekly assignments are leveled according to ability and interest because this course is designed to cater to everyone.
We'll take you on an exciting journey, where you will discover how AI works, which problems it can solve, and where it's applicable. We will show you how to use AI effectively and ethically in your business environment, without the need for any coding skills.
Our goal is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to unlock the full potential of AI in marketing.
DePaul has more than 300 undergraduate majors and graduate programs, so chances are good we have what you’re looking for. Many of our professors work in Chicago as consultants, researchers and entrepreneurs, and incorporate their experiences in the classroom.
You’ll actually get to know your professors. 97 percent of all classes are taught by faculty members—not teaching assistants.
Everyone isn’t the same here. And that’s good. By nurturing diversity and intentionally incorporating multiple viewpoints into academic and student life, you’ll have a learning experience that better reflects—and prepares you for—the world.
The MSU Denver Brand Training will equip faculty and staff with the tips, tools and talking points to effectively promote the MSU Denver brand internally and externally — ensuring we are consistently ‘singing from the same songbook.’
