Aircraft Maintenance Engineering

Fora of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Institutes (FAME) is a common forum of AME Institutes duly approved by the DGCA, formed in the interest of AME Students & Institutes to achieve high quality training standards and students welfare. Some of the main objectives of the Forum are: 

• To enable even flow of technical manpower supplied to aviation industry within regulatory framework of DGCA.
• To bridge the gap between airlines, operators and AME Schools.
• To improve the awareness in society about the aviation career and opportunities in aviation sector through seminars, publishing of journals and media publications.
• To enable expansion of employment opportunities for weaker sections of the society in the aviation sector by undertaking special measures wherever possible.
• Work for the advancement / improvement of the society, education, health, prosperity and brotherhood and to do all acts, deeds and things which are beneficial to the society and mankind.
• To establish and maintain centres for academic education, technical training and humanitarian services.
• To give, provide and / or render necessary help and assistance to the students of weaker section of the society who are enrolled in the AME Schools and Institutes for completing their educational programs without hindrance.
• For helping the cleared out AME students & for setting up necessary infrastructure for AMOS and in their self employment.
• To establish and implement such human welfare schemes as decided by the Governing Body of the Society in consistent with the provisions of the Societies Registration Act, 1860 and the applicable law.
