This ramp safety training course will provide a baseline level of knowledge, raise awareness of airside hazards, the importance of safety reporting and help aviation companies meet audit requirements. Ramp Safety training is an essential course for anyone working on the apron or around the footprint of passenger or cargo aircraft.

  • Aligned to IATA AHM 1110, 11.2, GEN04.

  • Complete within 6 months of issue.

  • Includes a practical training checklist for local procedures.

This course is designed for all employees who work in airside areas of a commercial airport. For example:

  • Aircraft Dispatcher

  • Catering staff

 

Validity

Recurrent training should be completed within 36 months. 

In the event of long term absence, employees may be required to complete this course at more regular intervals.
