This is an eight-hour Instructor Lead Training course has been designed to give participants a solid understanding of the basic structure of Alberta’s Occupational Health and Safety legislation through interactive activities.
Participants will learn to successfully locate information in the OHS Handbook by completing individual exercises and activities. Each participant will receive an OHS Handbook as part of the course materials.

Certification
This course has an open book, online test. An Alberta OHS Legislation handbook is also permitted during the test. Participants must achieve a minimum score of 70% on the online test for certification.

Spill Response is a hands-on program that helps those who are the first on the scene of a spill to stay safe. Knowing what to do, and the various absorbents and equipment that are available is essential when dealing with small day-to-day spills. Certificate provided upon completion.
