For over 40 years, and 3 generations, Richland Sewing Center has been building relationships with customers and vendors in the sewing machine business. We carry a full line of sewing machines, embroidery machines, sergers, cabinets, quilting machines, and all the accessories that go with them. We proudly carry machines from Husqvarna Viking, Brother, Janome, Pfaff, HandiQuilter, and Singer.

Our service department is located in-store so that your sewing machine does not need to be shipped off to another location and we repair and service most brands of machines.

In this workshop, we'll discuss basic mending techniques and materials. We'll look at lots of examples and help you come up with a plan for your own visible mend. Please bring with you a piece of clothing or textile that needs to be mended so you can get started with us!

Join us in-person to make pillowcases for veterans that are part of the Road Home Program at Rush Hospital. The Road Home is dedicated to the mental health and wellness of veterans, service members, members of the National Guard, reservists and families.
In the Children’s Sewing Class, beginning and intermediate students will learn how to use their machine, take measurements , lay out and cut fabric, read a pattern, understand the pattern directions, finish seams and learn sewing techniques. Students will advance at their own pace.
