Choreographed by Keith Clifton (USA) the NZAMD American Tap offers students and the necessary training and progression to become an accomplished tap dancer and there are many NZAMD trained tap dancers performing in theatres around the world.
Keith Clifton’s choreography develops an exciting rhythmical array of beats throughout the levels, taking NZAMD tap well into the 21st century.
The syllabus is suitable for dancers from 7 years to adults. The American Tap consists of barre work, centre work, and set or teachers’ own choreographed dances.
