Mandy Roberts, the Director of Impact teaches most of the tap classes. We study the Ballet Australasia Limited syllabus and exams are generally held in August of each year.
Exams are not compulsory but learning the syllabus work is of great benefit to the students.

Once the exams have been sat each year the rest of the year is spent working on routines for our major variety show held in December.

Mandy Roberts (Miss Mandy), is the sole Director of Impact. A unique opportunity for performers to develop creativity, artistry and a high level of technical proficiency in dance and musical theatre.
Mandy has an extensive background in musical theatre and dance. She has been dancing for more than 35 years, teaching and choreographing for nearly 25 years and been appearing in musical theatre shows for over 20 years.
The School strives to provide pupils with self confidence, grace, co-ordination, musicality, discipline and an appreciation of the arts. Students are given the opportunity to perform at our annual dance production.Â
Our tap programme offers non-exam classes to explore and enjoy the fundamentals of tap dance, with a focus on rhythm and technique
Fantastic for timing, coordination and control, tap movements and routines are set to popular songs. Open to five year olds and over.Â
Tap is examined internally at HSPA. Our tap classes always feature in our annual show.
Made popular during the 20th Century, this appealing dance style still has its place in the modern world.
