This comprehensive course introduces the structure of the human body and its relationship to the function and integration of the twelve body systems as well as how they work to maintain homeostasis.
Learners will gain an in depth understanding of the organization of the human body from the chemical and cellular level to the tissues, organs and organ systems.
This course will also facilitate understanding of the terminology associated with the human body.

This course is suitable for admission to Health Care programs and may be considered for advanced standing.
This course includes the study of normal anatomy and physiology of the human body, beginning with the structure and function of the cell and continuing with the organization of the cell into organs.
This course is the first of two that are designed to introduce the student to the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology of all human body systems.
