You will also gain work experience in the veterinary industry, which allows you to put your skills into practice. All students complete work experience as part of their course:Level 2: 150 Hours External Placement
Progression
After completing your course, you will be well prepared for the next step in your further education academic journey - there are a wide range of progression opportunities across and upwards throughout our courses within animal studies, equine studies, and veterinary nursing. This course could allow you to progress to our Animal Management Level 3 or you could choose to enter the industry as a veterinary nursing assistant.
Entry Requirements
Level 2 Vocational Courses: Students are required to have 4 GCSEs at grade 3-9.Additional Information: We will consider 1 Vocational qualification in place of a GCSE as long as a grade 4 is achieved in English Language.
