It's the rare website, app, web video, or VR experience that doesn't put graphics into motion for a more compelling experience. While you might think good design is good design, applying your talents to a medium that moves and revolves around a timeline is a different ballgame than you might be used to. Fortunately, it’s all learnable. All you have to do is get moving.

This workshop will introduce you to the basic principles of designing motion graphics and animations as we cover these topics and more:

  • Fundamentals of motion design
  • How motion design applies to UX and interactive design
  • Key frames, interpolation and timing
  • Stop motion, cell animation, 3D, and other types of animation
  • Tools and resources to dig deeper

Started in 1971 by Dick and Cherry Brown, SVC was a school where the teachers were pros who were actually in the business. And you know what? They still are.

When you come to SVC, you get hands-on experience with people whose hands are still very much on. Our instructors are contributing in a major way at top firms like Microsoft, Starbucks, Possible, POP.

And Teague. And these experts share what they’ve learned working on big-time brands like Google, Facebook, REI, Target, Amazon, and the proverbial many more.
