MIT App Inventor is an intuitive, visual programming environment that allows everyone – even children – to build fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets. Students will use MIT App Inventor, a blocks-based programming language with a development environment that runs in a browser, to design and build mobile apps.
Students build their digital confidence and become empowered to create, rather than just use technology in their lives.
Learning Outcomes:
Satisfaction for me comes when our Kodecoon students shriek with excitement as they see their ideas come alive. It amazes me, as a teacher, when I see their ideas.
And creativity go beyond what I can even imagine. So don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot do something. If you want it bad enough, as bad as you want to breathe, go get it!
