Students build their digital confidence and become empowered to create, rather than just use technology in their lives.
Learning Outcomes:
Satisfaction for me comes when our Kodecoon students shriek with excitement as they see their ideas come alive. It amazes me, as a teacher, when I see their ideas.
And creativity go beyond what I can even imagine. So don’t let anyone tell you that you cannot do something. If you want it bad enough, as bad as you want to breathe, go get it!

Specially designed for people who are new to coding. This course introduces design-based computational thinking using Scratch. Students will be taught programming concepts, and practice how to apply them through hands-on coding challenges and project-based learning.
Ready to code? Ready to master the basics of coding? This course teaches you key coding concepts as you solve problems. You will develop coding skills through exploring and solving rich puzzle worlds.
The text for this course contains real-sized images of robots and parts as necessary so that students can more intuitively create their robots. Their ability to read and count will grow naturally as they memorize the names of parts and count the number of parts and mounting points.
