This Competency Unit is a mandatory WSH training course for all workers working in construction. Construction workers are required to go through the course before they start work.
On completion of this unit, the trainees should be able identify their own roles and responsibilities in a construction job, follow safe work procedures, adopt relevant risk control measures when working at height and respond to fire emergencies.

The Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) Recertification Assessment is a recertification for those who work in the construction industry and are required to renew their Construction Safety Orientation Course (CSOC) safety pass.
The SEC (K) level is used to certify the skills standard of construction tradesmen in construction industry. Candidates who pass both written and practical modules of the test will be awarded the SEC (K) certificate.
The Construction Safety Course for Project Managers, or CSCPM, is a mandatory training course for all individuals who are assigned to manage any construction project exceeding $10 million in contract value.
MOM work permit-linked safety orientation courses for the relevant industries have been transited to the WSQ System. These mandated safety courses will equip the workers and supervisors with the essential competencies to work safely in the Process and related industries.
This course is designed for all workers carrying out work in a tunnel in building and engineering construction worksite. Learners must have completed and passed the Construction Safety Orientation Course for Workers as a prerequisite to this course.
