Students are introduced to the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as to the Arab culture.
Our Arabic courses place emphasis on conversational skills. All levels of the program include some attention to culture and social customs in Arabic-speaking countries.
Learning Arabic and the culture of the people who speak it will make it easier for you conduct business as there is a high demand for Arabic speakers in different industries with few Western people who can speak it.Â
In this course, the student will be able to develop socially and culturally appropriate proficiency in interpersonal, interpretive, and presentational modes at the novice mid-level in Arabic. Note: Students must pass this course with a C or better to continue to ARA 1991. (4 hr. lecture)
Our academy offers a wide range of courses that cater to learners of different levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. Our experienced instructors provide comprehensive training in Arabic grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
