The Nationally Recognised unit CPCCDE5001 Conduct air monitoring and clearance inspections for asbestos removal work is required for any person wishing to obtain an Asbestos Assessors licence from their relevant states regulator.

Our courses include participants assessing a full friable asbestos removal enclosure, inspection and testing of negative air extraction units and decontamination units, full smoke and pressure testing of the enclosure to ensure competency.

 

Course Elements And Performance Criteria Include:

  • Plan for assessment process of asbestos removal

  • Prepare to collect site measurements and other data

  • Use measuring devices to collect site information and data

  • Complete the monitoring process

  • Evaluate and document results of monitoring process according to accredited laboratory requirements

 

Requirements:

  • Students must hold a current construction white card

  • Students must be a minimum of 18 years of age

  • Students must have photo identification

  • Students must have a minimum of year 9 level of literacy and numeracy
