Course Description
The Course in Asbestos Awareness 10675NAT provides learners with knowledge of the hazards and risks associated with asbestos exposure and inhalation. Learners will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to determine when and where asbestos and Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) may be present, the precautions that need to be taken if it is present and reporting procedures.
This course does not provide course participants with the knowledge to perform asbestos removal work or to perform minor routine maintenance work or other minor work. The course also involves understanding each individual’s general duty of care to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all workers, visitors, contractors and others in the workplace.

Participants in the Confined Space Training Course will gain understanding of the control of entry to confined spaces for maintenance, servicing of vessels or other necessary reasons.
This course set is designed for new and experienced personnel required to work in confined spaces and work safely at heights at an operational level typically in the resources and infrastructure industries.
Upon successful completion of this course you will be able to operate all types of scissor lift and a boom-type EWP with a boom length of less than 11m. If you are required to operate a boom-type EWP with a boom length of greater than 11m you will need to complete the High Risk Work Licence Course
