In operation since 1965, the École hôtelière de la Capitale (ÉHC) is a vocational training center offering 9 programs in the food and tourism sector.
Each year, we welcome around 750 students. Whether you go to the supermarket, the butcher, the pastry shop, a delicatessen, a caterer, a restaurant or even a travel agency, you will undoubtedly meet a graduate of the École hôtelière de la Capitale.
Located in lower Quebec City, a stone's throw from the tourist heart of Quebec City, the ÉHC is part of the Commission scolaire de la Capitale.

Students from Ching's classes have loved her dumplings so much they asked for a class just featuring them - so here it is! Join Ching for a journey of discovery into these delicious little parcels of flavour, and learn just how weeknight meal-worthy dumplings can be.
We will learn the tips and tricks for successful restaurant meals, as well as how to prepare tasty recipes without additives or preservatives for colorful cuisine, based on herbs, spices and fresh vegetables
These recipes will inspire you to play with some new flavours and heat. The Asian trio – Sriracha, Guchojang and Sambal Oelek – spar with Mexican chiles and heat-lovers win all around!
In this class we will create some tasty Asian inspired recipes while using the spiralizer and the pressure cooker; fundamental pieces in my kitchen which save me time and make it easier for me to create healthy and delicious food.
