This course will explore what assertion is and how it can be applied. Assertion is often assumed to be a negative and perhaps even aggressive technique associated with those who shout louder than the rest. In reality, assertion when done correctly does not fall on the passive-aggressive spectrum at
life can be very painful. These skills will provide opportunities and benefits to participants in their professional and personal lives.
This course aims to give delegates an understanding of the tools and techniques behind staying consistently assertive and recognising passive and aggressive behaviour.
