This 1 day course delivered by Welsh Womens Aid will define assertiveness and help participants understand the implications of using non-assertive behaviour in various situations. Human rights issues and barriers to using assertiveness techniques will be identified.
This 1 day course delivered by Welsh Womens Aid will define assertiveness and help participants understand the implications of using non-assertive behaviour in various situations. Human rights issues and barriers to using assertiveness techniques will be identified.
By the end of the day delegates will understand the influence that peer pressure has on individual behaviour and learn practical assertiveness techniques, leading to the creating of an action plan to implement the techniques.
