Course Details

The program aims at exposing physical security audit and survey in the most practical but effective way to benefit the organization and at the same to look at both programs from the holistic view. Participants will be taught to assess and/or develop a suitable audit and survey checklists for its purpose.

Participant will conduct a physical security audit exercise to test their understanding of the subject matter. A vulnerability can be defined in two ways i.e. its design that be exploited or a gap in security procedures or a weakness in internal controls that when exploited results in a security breach.

There are three primary objectives of a vulnerability assessment. Identify vulnerabilities ranging from critical design flaws to simple misconfigurations. Document the vulnerabilities so that developers can easily identify and reproduce the findings. Create guidance to assist developers with remediating the identified vulnerabilities.

  • Conduct effective audit using the practical audit format.
  • Appreciate the importance of security survey.
  • Explain the sources of risks that could pose threats to organization and it facilities.
  • Apply the formula in risk assessment.
  • Adopt the appropriate vulnerability assessment format.
  •  Prioritize action to mitigate risks.
  • Write SVA report and prepare for its presentation.
