Authorised Gas Tester & Entry Supervisor For Confined Space (AGTES)

Authorised Gas Tester & Entry Supervisor for Confined Space course is offered by Institut Latihan Perindustrian Miri. Our Objective is to raise the skills of industrial workers to enable them to contribute more effectively towards the development of the country.

Objectives:

• Describe the regulations and code of practice of confined space work.
• Identify hazards prior and during entry into the confined space.
• Be familiar with the common confined space entry equipment, i.e. Gas Detector,ELSA, Man Riding Winch, Tripod, etc.
• Test and interpret the gas test result.
• Demonstrate the gas testing operations and the procedure to be taken in the event of an emergency.
• Be certified as an Authorised Gas Tester & Entry Supervisor.
