Authorized Gas Tester

Authorized Gas Tester Training is offered by VELOSI.This Velosi AGT Training course prepares prospective AGTs for this challenging role by equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to conduct proper gas tests for oxygen levels as well as flammable and toxic gases.

Incidents involving gas are among one of the top safety risks for international oil and gas industry, especially with high-risk activities such as working in confined spaces or hot work.

To ensure that atmospheres are safe for hot work or work in confined spaces, certain legislations require that an Authorized Gas Tester (AGT) is formally appointed by his/her employer to perform the initial testing and continuous monitoring of the atmosphere in these working environments.

For an AGT to be competent enough to do this, he/ she must have attended AGT training by a prestigious organization.
