Inventor Advanced Part Modeling is the second in a series of courses on Inventor from ASCENT.
Inventor Advanced Part Modeling is the second in a series of courses on Inventor from ASCENT. The goal of this class is to build on the skills acquired in the Inventor Introduction to Solid Modeling course to take students to a higher level of productivity designing part models in Inventor. In addition, students will learn about various drawing tools.
This course considers various approaches to part design and emphasizes useful strategies. Specific advanced part modeling techniques covered include: advanced lofts, advanced sweeps, coils, and surface modeling.
Additional material aimed at increasing efficiency is also included: iFeatures for frequently needed design elements, iParts for similar designs, translation options for importing data, engineering notebook for communicating information, etc.
The course also covers creating revision and hole tables as well as custom sketches symbols which can all be added to a drawing.
With an understanding of these tools, students can begin to streamline the design and documentation process.

Inventor Sheet Metal Design introduces the concepts and techniques of sheet metal modeling with AutoDesk Inventor.
Learn to master Autodesk Inventor and have the cards in hand to start creating your 3D models: tooling, building, parts of a product, etc. Start slowly by understanding the interface of the software and go further by using the 2D sketching tools or the geometric constraints.
Covers sketching, part modeling, assemblies and design documentation. Autodesk Inventor uses adaptive technology to speed and simplify the mechanical design process. As a dedicated 3D mechanical computer aided design package, it is ideally suited for conceptual design.
