This course provides an introduction for those new to teaching and training or for those who wish to teach in the lifelong learning sector such as further education, adult and community education, work based learning and the voluntary sector, provided they are qualified/experienced in the subject they wish to teach.
Students will achieve a basic minimum standard for entering the lifelong learning sector of the teaching profession.

Understanding Roles, Responsibilities and Relationships in Education and Learning
Understanding and Using Inclusive Teaching and Learning Approaches in Education and Training
Understanding Assessment in Education and Training
When will I study?
Various start dates available. 5-8pm
Wednesday 4th September
What are the entry requirements?
Ideally, applicants should possess a Level 2 qualification.
How will I be assessed?
You will be assessed through a reflective journal, assignment and delivery of a micro- teach session.
A portfolio of evidence will be submitted at the end of the course.
What can I do next?
You could progress to a certificate in education course (dependent on you holding a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in your subject area).
