The Award will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to enable you to plan, deliver and evaluate teaching and learning sessions across a variety of teaching and training environments which can include work in Further Education colleges and other training providers.
This award is an introductory qualification for teaching and learning in the Education and Training Sector.
The Award will provide you with the basic skills and knowledge to enable you to plan, deliver and evaluate teaching and learning sessions across a variety of teaching and training environments which can include work in Further Education colleges and other training providers.
There is no minimum teaching practice requirement and whilst it is intended for those in a teaching or training position, it can be undertaken by anyone that wishes to consider themselves for a role in the sector. There is, however, a minimum requirement to undertake a micro-teach as part of the course.
Entry Requirements
You must be aged over 19 at the start of the academic year.
Entry to the course is subject to satisfactory completion of an online Professional Course Assessment.
You will need to demonstrate a good standard of English language and ability to work at the required level for this course.
