Students emerge with a generalist skillset but also have the opportunity to focus on specific areas of design, such as publication, motion, UX/Interactive and web design.
Program Features
Gain practical studio experience rooted in theoretical knowledge in illustration, motion graphics, photography, typography, User Interface (UI), User Experience (UX), and design for the Web and mobile devices.
Join Lasell's Graphic Design faculty for a virtual face-to-face Design Portfolio Review where industry experts evaluate your work for the possibility of receiving a scholarship.
The Graphic Design League (a club that functions like an in-house agency) and award-winning publications, like Polished and Tarnished Magazine.
Students are required to do at least one internship and encouraged to study abroad.
The Graphic Design program is situated in the Yamawaki Center, which is equipped with a Mac lab, Photography Studio, Ceramics Studio, Printmaking Studio and classroom studios for Drawing and Painting, as well as its own gallery.

Mission
Established in 2001, The RoseMary B. Fuss Center for Research on Aging and Intergenerational Studies at Lasell University promotes intergenerational connections through research, education, partnerships, and programming.
Faculty Fellows
The Fuss Center offers faculty members across the curriculum who do not have expertise in adult development and aging the opportunity to spend time learning about aging issues related to their areas of scholarship and developing intergenerational teaching and learning activities for their classes. Fellows receive professional development support to attend conferences and related programs.
Our students are immersed in print, web, and multimedia design, applying their advanced skills to hands-on projects and internships. You'll hone your skills in modern design software while developing branding strategies, web sites, magazine layouts and more.
Through a successive sequence starting with foundational two- and three-dimensional design courses, youāll discover your style, become a more persuasive and adaptable designer, learn to use industry-standard digital and print tools and plant the roots for your future.
To be awarded a minor, at least 12 units of coursework must be completely distinct and separate from the coursework in the major, and coursework for the minor must include a minimum of 6 upper-division units (University Policy S16-4).
