4-Year program. Graduates are pharmacists trained specifically to:

Ensure that patients are using their medications safely and effectively.
Supervise the production and preparation of medicines and assessments of quality of medicines before they are supplied to patients from pharmaceutical manufacturers.
Work in many different work environments. These include community pharmacies, hospitals, pharmaceutical production or sales in the pharmaceutical industry, primary care centres, and universities in teaching and research.

The IMU Pharmacy programme offers the option to complete the entire 4-year programme locally at IMU or credit transfer to the University of Otago, New Zealand or University of Tasmania, Australia.

The Centre for Lifelong Learning (ICL) is the continuing professional development (CPD) and training arm of IMU. For working professionals aiming to take their careers to the next level, ICL offers courses in research, medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and health sciences. Our goal is to empower healthcare communities with personal and career growth through diverse learning opportunities. We also offer courses designed for the general public.
