B.Sc Nursing

The origin of Owaisi hospital & Research centre ,dates back to the futuristic vision  of late ‘Alhaj  moulana  Abdul Waheed  Owaisi’  a  great scholar, and an astute politician.  In 1996,  his   dream  of creating a world  class 1050 bedded super  Speciality  hospital  that matches  its resources with   the   rising   expectation  of  the  levels of   health   care  eventually  became a  reality by  the  unflinching courage & remarkable efforts of  his worthy son Late ‘Alhaj sultan salahuddin Owaisi .M.P. Chairman, Dar-us- salam Education Trust & president All India Majlis-e- Ithehadu- Muslimeen.

Located at Kanchanbagh , Hyderabad, Owaisi Hospital & Research centre  is a teaching hospital . It is a massive seven storied structure , competently managed by senior professionals, highly experienced in their respective specialties. On the seventh floor , is widely spread out area with a beautiful infra – Structure is occupied by college of Nursing.

The Owaisi School of Nursing is started in the year 1999. The school of nursing is providing  3.1/2 year which is “Diploma in sGeneral Nursing and Midwifery” as per Indian Nursing council curriculum. Later, in the year 2001, the college of Nursing is established with B.Sc (N) 4 Years  Programme which is recognized by the Govt & affiliated to Dr. NTR University of health sciences& Indian Nursing Council New Delhi.

Recently upgraded with postgraduate nursing course i.e., 2Yrs M.Sc (N)  programme  started functioning from 2009. The Principal of Owaisi College/School of Nursing is Mrs. Kokila Johnson.
