Sinhgad College of Nursing (SCON) was established in the year 2004 with the aim to provide baccalaureate level quality education in nursing. The laurels were added to its glory with the commencement of Post Basic B Sc nursing program for the practicing nurses with GNM preparation in 2006-07 and post graduation in Nursing in 5 specializations of nursing in 2009
The aim of the undergraduate nursing program is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives at basic level in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
The B.Sc. Nursing course aims to develop the skills of nursing among the aspirants. The course gives an in-depth understanding of the nursing skills, medical treatments, critical thinking skills that are required for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery.
B.Sc Nursing course is offered by Kongunadu College Of Nursing. The aim of the college is to provide an educational programme through which the nurses will be prepared to assume responsibility in the primary, secondary and tertiary care of people as professional nurses.
B.Sc Nursing course is offered by Mar Baselios College of Nursing. The aim of the undergraduate nursing program is to prepare graduates to assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurses and midwives in providing promotion, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
