Red Cross Babysitter courses cover the responsibilities of a babysitter, safety tips for children of all ages, feeding and diapering babies, basic child care skills, and what to do in case of an emergency.
This course is designed for responsible adolescents of 11 years and up who want to become a babysitter or may already be one.

Basic first-aid is also covered with rescue-breathing, choking, cuts, burn, etc. Each student will receive a Red Cross babysitter's manual, and a Red Cross Babysitter's completion card.

The course is conducted 100% in class with an instructor while maintaining all safety requirements and social distancing requirements.

The Canadian Red Cross Babysitting course offers basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth ages 11-15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to children in a variety of age groups and how to prevent and respond to emergencies.
The course is a one-day 8-hour training seminar. This course includes Home Alone, Fire Safety, Water Safety, CPR, First Aid, and teaches your child to care for newborn to school-aged children.
