The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with Marketing emphasis prepares students to lead organizations in making decisions on corporate branding, public relations, sales, supply chain management and advertising in an immersive environment of critical thinking.
The BBA degree with Marketing emphasis focuses on teaching consumer research, measurable strategies and strong communications skills. The goal is to develop your ability for strong analytical processes critical to the operation of business.
Marketing emphasis students are led through business cases of ethics, consumer behaviour and sales management. These scenarios will help you understand the decision-making processes of business and think about the many factors that affect marketing campaigns and projects.
All marketing-related courses have prerequisites, so it is important to carefully plan the order your studies. Students taking the BBA with a Marketing emphasis can expect to integrate their knowledge of marketing to support different organizational and multi-disciplinary goals in Canadian and international organizations.
What you'll learn:
In the BBA Marketing Concentration, the goal is to develop students' ability for robust analytical processes critical to the operation of a business.
Students will learn through business cases, engaging directly with the industry, understanding business decision-making processes and considering the many factors affecting marketing campaigns and projects.
Students can expect to integrate their marketing knowledge to support different organizational and multi-disciplinary goals in Canadian and international organizations.

Students taking the BBA with Marketing concentration complete:
10 common Level 1 required courses (required by all BUS-diploma/BBA students)
8 required BBA Level 2 Marketing courses
18 required BBA Level 3 and Level 4 marketing courses
4 elective BBA marketing-related courses from Level 2/Level 3/Level 4 (which can include BBA Capstone courses, an in-depth case study with an industry partner)
Program schedule:
Our course delivery is flexible, allowing you to take your classes in the daytime, evening or online to suit your schedule. We also have transfer credit and prior learning assessments for those who have done prior post-secondary or other formal training experience.
You can expect to spend on average:
20 hours per week attending classes over the course of a semester.
20 hours per week studying and completing class assignments.

Marketing research serves as a central basis for marketing decision-making. This course provides students with a managerial overview of marketing research process and a good understanding and practice of the analytic techniques.
In the one-year Marketing Research and Analysis Ontario College Graduate Certificate program, you acquire skills in current and emerging techniques in marketing research. This program prepares you for a data-driven career in the marketing research profession.
This course explores the fundamentals of marketing research – what it is, how it is used, why it is used, and its role in and importance to the marketing function. Secondary, qualitative, and quantitative research methods and tools will be explored.
The Business School will be offering a variety of delivery modes for new students in all programs. These can include, asynchronous learning, synchronous learning, hybrid, and on-campus deliveries, including evenings and weekends.
The main objective of this course is to equip students with the key concepts and methods of marketing research, and allow student to understand how to apply those tools to solve real-‐life business problems.
