The Bachelor of Business (Event Management) covers every aspect of planning and running major events. Choose from electives to tailor your event management degree to your specific career goals. You’ll gain key skills in commercial event operations and management, event staging and production, and event marketing.

This course will help you learn how to become an event planner. You’ll learn how to come up with creative themes and formats, and manage clients to ensure their expectations for an event are met. You’ll gain a thorough understanding of the legal, marketing, financial and strategic concepts in event management. You will also gain practical industry skills in project, strategic and event management and have the option to specialise in hospitality, tourism, marketing, public relations and advertising.

  • Gain the professional skills needed to set up and run an event management business.
  • Learn to design, plan, and run large-scale events, leaving guests satisfied.
  • Develop effective marketing and sponsorship strategies necessary to commercialise events.

  • Master the managerial and delegation skills that make running great events possible.
  • Undertake 300 hours of industry experience.
