The bachelor's degree in computer engineering provides access to an integrated bachelor's-master's degree as part of the master's program in electrical engineering.

 

General Objectives:

  • solve complex problems specific to computer engineering in the areas of software and hardware architecture of computer systems, software engineering, electronics of computer systems, telecommunications and networks;
  • to apply efficient contemporary methodologies and technologies for the implementation of solutions to problems;
  • solve more specialized complex problems in one or more areas of hardware and software design, industrial computing and robotics, distributed computing and telecommunications;
  • plan and manage engineering projects;
  • to design, develop and produce products and services by putting into practice an appropriate global method;
  • to work effectively in disciplinary and multidisciplinary teams in varied contexts;
  • to communicate, in French or English, orally and in writing using the appropriate medium at the required time;
  • to exercise analytical, abstraction, synthesis and creativity skills;
  • to practice the engineering profession with professionalism;
  • to self-assess, that is to say, to take a step back, assess the state of the situation, assess one's own limits, one's need for continuing training and resort to external expertise when required.
