Bachelor in Interior Design
Interior Designing as a discipline includes space-planning and designing of homes, offices, hotels, restaurants, departmental stores, banks, hospitals, boutiques, etc. The course work entails planning of environment in public and private spaces in traditional & contemporary style. BD curriculum teaches students to develop technical knowledge in drawing, drafting, space-planning, furniture-design, construction-technology, lighting, budget-control & project-management.

In this design-oriented age, everybody wants unique and unusual designs in all the things around them in everyday life. It may be the interior of a house, an office, a restaurant, the clothes we wear or the grooming we do; designing is the core requirement to shape one’s skill towards the above fields. Design education empowers students to reach their full potential in creativity, efficacy and confidence. Hence, to unfold their talent, an effort has been made in this direction by introducing Bachelor of Design, a four year professional degree course. After one years of foundation course, the students can opt for any one specialization in the field of fashion & textile designing or interior designing.

Bachelor in Fashion & Textiles Designing
This course imparts in-depth knowledge about all the aspects of fashion industry. Designing, development and creation of a vast variety of apparel from the source of inspiration to the finished garments are the major strengths of this course. The textiles, which is the core of the field of the fashion encompass the study of the fibers, yarn, various weaves textures and variety of prints and finishes which lead to better understanding of the output of designs created. Different dyeing and printing techniques like block printing, screen printing, batik and other surface enrichment /ornamentation helps the designer to put in a unique variety in their resultant product. This course trains the students to pursue career as designers, design mangers, fashion forecasters, stylist, colorists, weaving consultants, entrepreneurs, academicians & many more.
