In our ‘Core Training Program’ which includes Micro teaching & Integration lessons, students are trained for various skills. Classroom teaching requires various skills, such as Narration, Explanation, B.B.Writting, Stimulus Variation and many more. All these skills are taught in ‘Micro Teaching Program’ for effective teaching in the classrooms. Simulation Lessons are also a part of our Core Training Program.
In our Special Training Program, we have Practice lessons and Internship Program where students have to go to various schools to conduct their Practice lessons, and Internship Program. This helps build confidence in them. Students get the experience of going to schools and teaching the students. They are well trained before they actually step into the profession.
There are various course related practical’s. Every paper includes theory as well as practical work. For paper V, Content Cum Methodology workshop is conducted, where the students actually study and analyze the syllabus and curriculum from standard VI to X.
In the ‘Working with Community Program’ we have. Co-curricular activities, social service and health education, Students relate to various social problems by participating in AIDS awareness rally, Blood donation camps, a visit to orphanages etc.
Various co-curricular activities like debating, essay writing, G K Quiz, Singing, Rangoli, cookery, fancy dress etc. are conducted enthusiastically. The Annual day is celebrated with great fervor. Students are given chance to exhibit their talents.
The caring of the body is very important. Students are trained to meditate, perform Yoga and exercises are taken every week by trained teachers.
Thus training of body, mind & spirit is achieved with the help of numerous activities, Students gain not only theoretical knowledge but practical experiences too. They not only learn new subjects but discover their own latent qualities. All these activities build their confidence, help them realize their responsibilities as teachers and they become more committed to their profession in order to become ideal citizens of India.
