Bachelor of electrical engineering exposes students to the theory and applications of electricity, electronics, information and signal processing. The program is designed around a set of core courses that provide a classical electrical engineering foundation, and a number of elective courses that allow students to specialize in areas of interest and emphasis is placed on the application of the engineering knowledge.
Electrical engineering generally deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. It covers a wide range of subfields including electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, and signal processing. Electrical engineers give the world modern virtual reality and spanned power distribution networks across vast rural areas in developing countries.
Intake Schedule
The Faculty of Built Environment (FBE) offers five undergraduate professional programmes tailored to meet the nation's construction and real estate sectors' manpower needs. All these programmes are accredited on the national and international levels. For example, our Bachelor of Science in Architecture has been accredited as Part I by the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM) while our 2-year Bachelor of Architecture program leads to Part I recognition by the Board.
Our Mission
Our Vision
Our Objectives
Throughout the bachelor of electrical and electronic engineering programme, you will gain a comprehensive understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles. Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on learning experiences, enabling you to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios.
The graduates will be well equipped with the engineering knowledge, problem analysis, investigation, and the design related to the electrical and electronic engineering. The graduates will also be trained in non-technical skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, etc. To enrich their know...
Electrical engineering students learn through a combination of design and lab work. This mix of the theoretical and practical application allows students to think things through and then apply their ideas in a variety of real life situations. Students also learn to diagnose problems and develop a v...
