  • PLO 1 Engineering Knowledge: Ability to apply acquired fundamental knowledge of mathematics, science and electronic engineering to the solution of complex engineering problems.
  • PLO 2 Problem Analysis: Able to identify, formulate, research, analysis and synthesis of conclusions for the complex engineering problems.
  • PLO 3 Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and systems, component or processes that meet specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, multi-cultural society and environment.
  • PLO 4 Investigation: Ability to conduct investigation into complex problems using research-based knowledge and research methods including data analysis and interpretation to obtain valid conclusions.
  • PLO 5 Modern Tool Usage: Ability to create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, modern engineering and IT tools to complex engineering practice , with an understanding of the limitations.
  • PLO 6 The Engineer and Society: Understand the role of engineers in multi-cultural society, especially the health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to professional engineering.

Entry Requirement

  • STPM/A-Level: 2 principal passes and including Mathematics and Physics / Chemistry subjects 
  • UEC: Grade B in 5 subjects, including Mathematics and Physics / Chemistry / Engineering related subject 
  • Foundation: Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.00 in related field
  • Diploma: Pass with minimum CGPA of 2.00 in related field 
  • ATAR: 65 with minimum of scaled score 50 for mathematics and one natural science 
  • Others: Other recognized equivalent qualifications 
  • English Competency Requirement for International Student: IELTS 5.0 / its equivalent
