Bachelor of Fine Arts (Computer Animation)

In this computer animation program, you can choose between two tracks—computer animation or game art concentrations and learn from experienced faculty.

Track selections

• Animation: Learn advanced motion graphics, comics and sequential art.
• Game art: Concepts of gaming, level design and digital sculpting

Motion Capture

• The course offers an opportunity to build a fundamental understanding of motion capture technology for developing animation works. Class activities dealing with this technology are designed to help students become familiar with character acting through animation, storyboarding and general visual storytelling by learning the processes necessary to create clean animation data , and applying it to 3D characters.

3D Animation II

• Intermediate animation concepts are combined with more advanced modeling skills. With emphasis on efficient animation, students establish hierarchy for animation, use deformations, explore camera animation and are introduced to simple kinematics. Advanced applications of animation including secondary motion are applied to a final project.

Motion Graphics 2D

• This course introduces students to the fundamentals of motion design. Topics include motion graphics, raster and vector images and motion design.
